precise processing of natural stone
Planning: sinai Gesellschaft von Landschaftsarchitekten
Under the motto “Nature finds the city”, the state garden show in Aschersleben (Saxony-Anhalt) was a magnet for those interested in architecture and landscape. BESCO supplied countless special elements for the design of three different parks. The landscape architects from Sinai, open space planning and project management Berlin, used these in a variety of ways.
In addition to fountains, water features and mosaic paving, the Berlin natural stone specialists made floor slabs for the paths to the plant beds.

The names of the flowers were engraved into these stones – a modern interpretation of signs that are stuck in the ground.
It was also a little precision trick to carve out a fountain bowl with filigree overflows with stone tongues from a single block of belgrano® natural stone instead of adding the elements later – a precision work that requires a lot of experience.

The Monbijoupark in the heart of Berlin runs over a kilometer along the Spree. On the one hand, it is a popular place to stroll and stroll, on the other hand, bicycles roar through there. In order to better separate these two areas from each other, the Berlin landscape architects Lützow 7 redesigned the green lung. For this purpose, BESCO delivered over 1,000 individual wall blocks made of belgrano® granite. These should always be exactly the same width and depth, but different heights.
The different heights of the seats run like a long queue through the Monbijoupark. The granite blocks are intended to separate the livelier and quieter parts of the park.
Planning: THOMAS NIESSEN BDLA
The holiday resort of Binz on the island of Rügen is surrounded by water. A large part of the city is located directly on the Baltic Sea coast, the remaining part borders on the Schmachter See. The Rügen landscape architect Thomas Nießen created impressive water features on the promenade. His concern: The systems should also look attractive in winter when the water circulation is switched off. With the belgrano® natural stones from BESCO, this has been achieved without any problems.
The reddish hemisphere with a diameter of over two meters, for example, which forms the heart of a fountain, looks fascinating even without damp. BESCO found an ingot of this size with a fine pattern. Because the red giant did not fit into a normal shipping container, a special steel frame was welded for transporting the certified stone from Asia.
