Walking belgrano® – Following BESCO's Footsteps in Hamburg

reading time - 7 min.

Hamburg is characterized by distinctive brick and clinker architecture, as well as modern accents made of glass and steel. However, natural stone also plays a central role in urban and landscape design. Particularly durable hard stones like granite are ideal for streets, squares, and port facilities. In modern architecture, such as in HafenCity, natural stone creates stylish contrasts with glass and steel, highlighting Hamburg's tradition as a prosperous trading city. With its combination of durability and elegance, the natural material shapes the urban landscape of the Hanseatic city.
