COMPANY

The signs continue to point to growth at BESCO GmbH, which specializes in the project business with natural stone for public building projects. Under the brand belgrano®, the Berlin-based company sells rocks and surfaces for the design of pedestrian zones, facades and parks beyond the borders of Germany. Now the company is continuing this upward trend and expanding its team with a new manager. Florian Geyer joined BESCO in March 2015 as an authorized officer and member of the management. He already looks back on twelve years of experience in the company. Most recently he was responsible as sales and project manager for all tasks in the entire sales. Together with the managing directors Ulrich Klösser and Frank Dickmann, he is now responsible for the cross-departmental implementation of corporate goals and the optimization of work processes.

Florian Geyer started his career at BESCO with an apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade. This was followed by positions in field service, sales, in sales and project management. With this experience, the proven natural stone expert wants to contribute to continuing the growth of recent years and increasing the company’s market presence. Geyer comments: “In recent years, Besco has developed as a provider of natural stones in the project area from an industry secret tip to a well-known specialist provider. As an authorized signatory and member of the management, I would like to help ensure that the many positive success stories continue. ”To achieve these goals, he can draw on a wealth of experience from his twelve years at BESCO. The father of two children had already demonstrated his extensive skills in the past in contact with the various BESCO customers. For example, Geyer took on the task of negotiating orders and communicating with private builders, landscape architects, architects, building contractors and partners from the skilled trades and acquiring new customers. In addition to the back office and project preparation, Geyer was also active in the field. These contacts and the acquired know-how as sales manager help him with his new tasks.

When asked about the motivation for his work with the natural stone specialist, Florian Geyer, who originally wanted to study architecture after finishing school, replies: “I am pleased that I can actively participate in the design of public spaces and leave our footprint.”

„After many years in the company and hundreds of projects, Mr. Geyer has become the natural stone specialist who masters the aesthetic, technical and commercial issues in architectural consulting excellently.“
