Color diversity and durability for architecture and landscaping

Porphyry is a fascinating natural stone known for its volcanic origin, high resilience, and distinctive color variety. Thanks to its robustness, slip resistance and weather resistance, it is ideal for garden and landscaping as well as various architectural applications. Whether used as paving, floor tiles, wall stones, or design elements – porphyry combines aesthetics, durability, and sustainability.

The color palette of belgrano® porphyry ranges from warm red tones to subtle violet and brown hues, all the way to gray and beige shades. These natural variations arise from mineral inclusions such as quartz, feldspar, and mica, and blend harmoniously into various design concepts. Frost-resistant, easy to maintain, and featuring a unique texture, porphyry is an exclusive choice for projects that combine natural beauty with exceptional durability.

belgrano® porphyry gives Illingen a unique atmosphere

Since its redesign, the former Höll site in Illingen has transformed into an inviting meeting place – largely thanks to the thoughtful material choice. The combination of belgrano® porphyry and four carefully selected granite stones from Europe lends the square a natural vibrancy with its warm red, brown, and gray tones, blending harmoniously into the surroundings. The precisely cut and flame-treated natural stones, laid as paving in a bound construction method, visibly enhance the appearance of the new town center.
