From Marienplatz to Nymphenburg: A Natural Stone Discovery Tour Through Munich

Our Germany tour “Walking belgrano®” continues – this time on two wheels. Join us on a natural stone tour through Munich. Since the individual projects along the route are somewhat spread out, this tour is ideal for cycling. The starting point is the central Marienplatz. From there, the 18-kilometer route takes you across the city to the jewel that is Nymphenburg Palace. The ride takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes by bike. First Stop: Marienplatz

Marienplatz is the historical and geographical heart of Munich. Since the 12th century, it has been a stage for markets, celebrations, and political events. It is especially defined by the neo-Gothic New Town Hall with its famous Glockenspiel, as well as the Marian Column that gives the square its name.

Marstallplatz is located directly behind the Munich Residenz. Once the site of the ducal stables, it is now an open space with modern design.
