Explore the Heart of Hamburg on Foot or by Bike: A Selection of belgrano® Natural Stone Projects
On a tour of approximately 5.3 km through the city center of Hamburg, you can visit various natural stone projects and learn how belgrano® natural stone shapes the cityscape at different locations. First Stop: Alstercampus

For the design of this important urban area, BESCO supplied floor slabs, curbstones, and paving made of robust and weather-resistant belgrano® granite, diorite, and basalt.

For the design of the square, BESCO supplied block steps, floor slabs, curbstones, paving, and seating elements made of light belgrano® granite, which blend harmoniously into the cityscape.

In the BID Nikolaiquartier, streets, sidewalks, and stairs were redesigned with a uniform material composition. The area between Rathausplatz and Alsterfleet has become a vibrant part of Hamburg’s city center through extensive construction and service work. For the design of the open spaces around the harbor basin, belgrano® basalt was used, connecting the squares and promenades.
